In case of an accident, whether active or passive, or in case of mechanical breakdown that renders the camper temporarily unusable, the client must immediately notify MONZACAMPER by phone or email and call the insurance operations center to activate the claim. In case of non-compliance, any expenses for transport, restaurant, hotel, or anything else, are entirely at the client's expense; furthermore, within the subsequent 48 hours, the client must send MONZACAMPER a registered letter or certified email (PEC) with all written and/or photographic documentation relating to the accident. In any case, in the event of an accident, the appropriate form provided by the insurance company (accident report, friendly statement C.I.D.) located in the document holder along with the vehicle registration document must be completed. The driver and any other person authorized to drive is covered by an insurance policy for civil liability towards third parties and for damage to animals or property, within the limits of the laws in force in Italy. The driver also undertakes to protect the interests of the Lessor and its insurance company in case of accidents during the rental, and must, among other things: - Provide the names and addresses of the parties involved in the accident and of witnesses, - Admit any responsibilities or faults, - Not leave the vehicle unattended without having provided adequate safeguard, - Immediately notify the Lessor by phone and email, even in case of minor damage (for more serious cases with a telegram or PEC email), followed by a detailed report accompanied by photos and a sketch. For any violation of the highway code, the client will be held financially responsible, even after some time. For any dispute, the court of Monza will be competent.
